Connected Google Account Data

If you choose to connect a Google account to Relay, we access Google Workspace data only after you authorize the connection. Depending on the features you use, this may include Gmail message headers, message bodies, attachments, labels, read or unread state, and sent-message history.

Information Collected Automatically

We may automatically collect:

• IP address and browser type
• Pages visited and time spent on our site
• Referring website and campaign labels. A session cookie can preserve campaign labels as you move between pages so we can understand which content led to a request. It does not contain a visitor identifier or your email address, and is not set when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
• Device information

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Save your access request and send the confirmation and setup information you requested
• Understand whether Relay's current quoting workflows fit your agency
• Improve our website and services
• Send setup tips and product updates when you choose to subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Provide connected Gmail features you direct, including displaying and prioritizing messages, processing relevant attachments, organizing customer communication history, synchronizing labels and read state, and sending replies or forwards you initiate

Google Workspace API Data

Relay uses Google Workspace data only to provide and improve prominent, user-facing features that you request. Relay does not use Google Workspace data, including raw, derived, aggregated, or anonymized data, to develop, improve, or train generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models. When Relay uses automated or AI-assisted processing, it is limited to providing the user-facing Relay feature you requested.

Relay's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloud hosting and storage: We use service providers to host the site and store submissions.
• Internal notifications: We may send a copy of a saved submission to our team's messaging tools so we can follow up.
• Email delivery: We use an email service provider to deliver requested messages and optional follow-ups. Delivery, bounce, unsubscribe, reply, and product-setup events help us stop irrelevant messages. Marketing forms do not request insurance client documents.
• Analytics: We use site analytics to understand page visits and conversion events. We do not send submitted email addresses to analytics.
• Google APIs: We use Google APIs to provide Gmail features only when you connect and authorize your Google account.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information:

• With service providers who help us operate our business

Google Workspace data is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred for unrelated purposes. Human access is limited to cases where you provide affirmative consent, access is required for security or abuse investigation, or access is required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time. We may retain a minimal suppression record to honor an unsubscribe request.

For connected Google accounts, we retain Google Workspace data only as long as needed to provide the connected Relay features, honor the agency's configured retention requirements, or meet applicable legal obligations. Disconnecting the Google account stops new access. You may request deletion of stored Google Workspace data by contacting us.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
