The rater gap
Why raters don’t solve this
Comparative raters do not cover every market or submission. AI Quoting is designed for configured portal workflows outside that path.
Raters only work with carriers that integrate via API, which excludes most regional and specialty carriers.
Surplus lines, non-standard risks, and many commercial lines aren’t available through any rater.
Even when a carrier is in a rater, the quote often needs to be completed in the carrier’s own portal.
Relay runs carrier workflows only after the carrier, line, and state combination has been configured and validated for the agency.
When a configured portal changes, the workflow is monitored and held for review until it is validated again.

Which carriers do you support?+
Support is confirmed during early-access review and depends on the carrier, line of business, state, authentication, and portal workflow. We validate the exact carrier mix before inviting an agency.
Do you handle commercial lines?+
Selected personal and commercial lines workflows are evaluated during early access. We confirm each requested line and carrier combination before setup.
What about surplus lines?+
Some specialty workflows may be a fit, but portal access alone does not make a workflow supported. We review the market, submission, and portal requirements first.
How accurate is the data entry?+
Relay validates fields against available sources and flags discrepancies or low-confidence details for human review instead of guessing.
Can I choose which carriers to quote with?+
Your agency chooses which supported, configured carrier workflows to run for a risk. Relay does not choose the market or promise universal carrier coverage.
