The same client details. Without the same typing.

Give Relay the client documents and name the ACORD you need. It prepares an editable form with the facts it can support, so you can spend your time checking the application and filling the gaps.

A real form.
Your details, in place.

Watch Relay prepare an ACORD 80 from a homeowners intake, then edit the agency name directly on the PDF.

Recorded in Relay. Fictional client. Waiting shortened.
Read the recording walkthrough
  1. A homeowners intake is added to the conversation. Relay opens the actual ACORD 80 while it reads the source.
  2. The generated draft contains 88 source-supported fields. Unanswered questions and signatures remain blank.
  3. The agency name is edited directly on the form and saved to the PDF. The producer still reviews the completed information and resolves missing details.

Start with the work on your desk.

You have a homeowners intake and the current policy. A market needs an ACORD 80. Instead of moving the applicant name, address, and property details into the form again, ask Relay to prepare the draft.

What you bring

  • The client's source documents

A readable intake, existing application, or current policy documents. Add the agency information needed on the form.

  • The required form and edition

Name the ACORD your market requested. Confirm that template and its availability in your workspace.

  • Confirmed changes

Identify new facts and which source takes priority. A roof replacement date is different from the year the home was built.

What you get back

  • An editable ACORD draft

The form opens in the document pane. Review populated values, edit fields directly, and download the PDF.

  • A clearer list of what is still missing

Ask Relay to identify the unanswered or conflicting details. Use that list for one focused follow-up with the client.

A request you can use

Prepare an ACORD 80 draft from the attached homeowners intake and current dec pages. Use the updated client notes for confirmed changes. Keep unsupported answers blank and tell me which details still need confirmation. I want to review and edit the form before downloading it.

Your review before the next step
  • Compare populated fields with the source documents, including the meaning and units of each answer.
  • Resolve missing material details and check the full form, including pages beyond the first.
  • Complete required signatures, attestations, and submission steps through your agency's process.

Use the reviewed application in the supported quote workflow or your agency's normal market submission process.

Practical answers before you put this workflow to work.

Is the form editable, or do I just get an image?

It is an editable document. You can change values directly on the form and download a PDF. The small interactive example on this website is an illustration; the workspace contains the document workflow.

Can I start with dec pages?

Yes. They are a useful source for policy and client details. They usually leave some application questions unanswered, so include the intake and confirmed client updates when you have them.

Which ACORD forms are supported?

Start by confirming the form and edition you need. ACORD 80 is our most thoroughly validated application workflow. Other available templates have different review support, and a generated draft is not a claim that every required or conditional question is complete.

What happens to missing information?

Unsupported details should remain blank. Relay retains source information with populated fields, and you can ask what still needs confirmation. Review the whole draft before using it.

Can it prepare a whole commercial submission package?

Confirm the exact forms and workflow first. Generating one form does not mean Relay automatically selects and completes every supplemental form a market requires.
