What EZLynx is
EZLynx is an all-in-one agency management system and insurance CRM from Applied Systems, Inc. It is web-based and used by independent agencies, with a comparative Rating Engine at its core that returns quotes from connected carriers on a single data entry. Alongside the rater it organizes quotes, policies, documents, service requests, and client communications, and it offers agency websites. For an EZLynx shop, the management system is the system of record and the rater is the daily quoting tool for the carriers wired into it.
How Relay fits
Relay is not an EZLynx integration and Applied Systems is not a partner, and it does not read from or write to your EZLynx account. It works alongside it on the surrounding work: the inbox, the documents, the ACORD forms, and the carrier portals that are not wired into your rater. Your team stays in EZLynx as the system of record and keeps using the Rating Engine for the carriers it covers.
That split matters most on quoting. The EZLynx comparative rater is strong for the personal lines carriers connected to it. The markets that are not on the rater, commercial, E&S, and portal-only carriers, still mean logging into each site by hand and re-keying the same risk. In the AI Quoting Research Preview, Relay runs those configured portal workflows in parallel and returns results with source evidence for human review. Document Parsing and ACORD Generation handle the paperwork around every quote, whichever way it was rated.

Common questions
Does Relay replace the EZLynx Rating Engine?
No. Keep using the rater for the carriers it is connected to. Relay's AI Quoting is a Research Preview aimed at the off-rater carriers you still quote by logging into a portal, and nothing is submitted without human review.
Does Relay integrate with EZLynx?
No. Relay is not an Applied Systems partner and does not sync your EZLynx account. It works alongside it on email, documents, ACORD forms, and the portal-only carriers your rater does not cover.
Do we have to leave EZLynx to use Relay?
No. EZLynx stays your management system and your rater. Relay handles the paperwork and the portal carriers around it.
