Loss Runs

How to request loss runs from AIG.

AIG is a global commercial property and casualty insurer distributing through retail and wholesale brokers. Loss run requests usually involve commercial casualty, property, or specialty placements, and larger accounts often already have portal access to their own claims data.

How to request

Agent portal

AIG's myAIG Portal for North America lets registered users generate loss runs, download policy documents, and access applications and tools. If your agency has myAIG access for the account, this is the self-serve route.

Agent portal

IntelliRisk is AIG's risk management information system for clients, brokers, and risk managers, with dashboards and customizable reporting on claims data. Risk-managed accounts typically pull valued loss information here.

Phone

The IntelliRisk Help Center is 1-800-767-2524 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm ET). It supports platform access and claims data questions, not loss run fulfillment itself, but it can unblock a portal login.

General guidance

For accounts without portal access, request loss runs through your AIG underwriter or the broker service contact on the account. AIG does not publish a general loss run request email.

What to include in your request

  • Named insured exactly as it appears on the policy
  • Policy number(s) and the policy periods you need
  • Years of history requested (three to five is standard)
  • Line of business, since AIG accounts often span multiple policies
  • A signed letter of authorization from the insured if you are not the agent or broker of record

Sources and verification

myAIG and IntelliRisk capabilities and the Help Center phone verified on AIG's public claims pages. AIG does not publish a public loss run request email or a standard turnaround time, so none is listed here. Verified 2026-07-11.

Common questions

Which AIG portal do I use for loss runs, myAIG or IntelliRisk?

myAIG is the producer-facing portal and includes loss run generation. IntelliRisk is the claims data platform used on risk-managed accounts by clients, brokers, and risk managers. Use whichever the account already has access to.

How long does AIG take to send loss runs?

AIG does not publish a standard turnaround. Portal routes are immediate for accounts you can access. For rep-handled requests, ask your AIG contact for a date when you submit.

Can I get AIG loss runs if I am not the broker of record?

Not directly. Send a signed letter of authorization from the insured with your request, or have the insured request their own claim history.
