Loss Runs

How to request loss runs from AmTrust.

AmTrust is one of the largest workers compensation writers in the US, and it also writes commercial package, commercial auto, and specialty lines through independent agents. Loss run requests usually come up when a workers comp or package account is being remarketed.

How to request

Agent portal

Appointed agents pull loss runs self-serve in AmTrust Online. In the claims view, click WC Loss Run Report for workers comp policies or CPP Loss Run Report for other commercial lines, set the sort options, then Generate for a PDF or Export to Excel.

Phone

AmTrust publishes 877.528.7878 as its customer service line on its agent-facing claims access guides. Call it if your portal access does not cover the account.

Carrier rep

General guidance

If the report you need is not available self-serve, ask your AmTrust underwriter or account rep to run it.

What to include in your request

  • Named insured exactly as it appears on the policy
  • Policy number(s) and the policy periods you need (AmTrust's portal search drops the sequence suffix like -01, so leave it off)
  • Years of history requested (three to five is standard)
  • Your agency name and producer code if you are the agent of record
  • A signed letter of authorization from the insured if you are not the agent of record

Sources and verification

Portal capability, report names, and the customer service number verified against AmTrust's published AmTrust Online guides (MKT0600 and MKT5551). AmTrust does not publish a loss run request email or a turnaround time, so none is listed here. Verified 2026-07-11.
