Loss Runs

How to request loss runs from Central Insurance.

Central Insurance was founded as Central Mutual Insurance Company in 1876 and is still headquartered in Van Wert, Ohio, with a wholly owned stock affiliate, All America Insurance Company. It writes personal and commercial coverage in 25 states, exclusively through independent agents. Loss run requests most often come up on commercial accounts being remarketed.

How to request

Agent portal

Appointed agents sign in through Agents Access, Central's agent portal, linked from the agents section of central-insurance.com. Account and policy information for your book starts there. Policyholders use a separate portal, myCentral.

Phone

Central publishes a claims line at 888.263.2924 and a customer services line at 800.786.9052, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET. Neither is a dedicated loss run desk, but they are the published entry points when the portal route stalls. For Agents Access login problems specifically, Central publishes a help desk at 800.786.4628 and HelpDesk@central-insurance.com.

Carrier rep

General guidance

Central does not publish a loss run request channel. If a report is not self-serve in Agents Access, request it through your Central underwriter or marketing rep.

What to include in your request

  • Named insured exactly as it appears on the policy
  • Policy number(s) and the policy periods you need
  • Years of history requested (three to five is standard)
  • Your agency name and producer code if you are the agent of record
  • A signed letter of authorization from the insured if you are not the agent of record

Sources and verification

The Agents Access portal, phone lines, and company facts verified on central-insurance.com. Central does not publish a loss run request path, email, or turnaround time, so the request route is the portal or your Central rep. Verified 2026-07-11.

Common questions

Is LossNotices@central-insurance.com the email for loss runs?

No. Central publishes that address for loss notices, meaning new claim reports. It is not a loss run request channel. Route loss run requests through Agents Access or your Central rep.

Is myCentral the same as Agents Access?

No. myCentral is Central's policyholder portal and mobile app. Agents Access is the separate agent portal linked from the agents section of central-insurance.com.

Can I get loss runs from Central if I am not the agent of record?

Not directly. Either the insured requests their own claim history, or you submit a signed letter of authorization from the insured with your request.
