Loss Runs
How to request loss runs from NEXT Insurance (ERGO NEXT).
NEXT Insurance writes small business coverage (general liability, professional liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto, and more) and sells both direct and through appointed agents. Munich Re's ERGO Group completed its full acquisition of NEXT on July 1, 2025, and the company now operates as ERGO NEXT. Policyholders manage most tasks online, including proof of insurance and claims.
How to request
Agent portal
NEXT sells through appointed agents and provides an Agent Login as part of its agent and partner program. If you are the servicing agent, that portal is your first stop for policy documents.
Carrier rep
General guidanceNEXT does not publish a dedicated loss-run request page. Policyholders manage their policy in the NEXT online account and app and can request claims history through in-app support or NEXT's U.S.-based support team. If you are not the agent of record, the insured requests it from their account.
What to include in your request
- Named insured exactly as it appears on the NEXT policy
- NEXT (ERGO NEXT) policy number
- The policy periods and years of history you need (three to five is standard)
- Whether you are the policyholder or the appointed agent
- A signed authorization from the insured if you are not the agent of record

- ERGO finalizes acquisition of NEXT Insurance (July 1, 2025)
NEXT's agent program, Agent Login, and online policyholder account were verified on its public site, and the ERGO/Munich Re acquisition (completed July 1, 2025, now ERGO NEXT) was verified on NEXT's own announcement. NEXT does not publish a dedicated loss-run request path, phone line, or turnaround, so the generic account, agent, and support route is given and no contact or turnaround is invented. Common questions
Is NEXT Insurance the same as ERGO NEXT?
Yes. Munich Re's ERGO Group completed its acquisition of NEXT Insurance on July 1, 2025, and the company now operates as ERGO NEXT. Existing policies and logins carry over.
How do I get loss runs from NEXT?
NEXT does not post a dedicated loss-run form. The servicing agent pulls documents from the Agent Login, or the policyholder requests claims history from their NEXT account or support. If you are not the agent of record, the insured has to request it.
