How to request loss runs from RLI.
RLI is a specialty property and casualty and surety insurer that writes through independent agents and brokers. Loss run requests come up most on the commercial and casualty accounts you are remarketing.
How to request
Online form
For most policies, RLI publishes an online loss run request form at rlicorp.com/loss-runs. Every field has to be completed to submit the request.
Agent portal
If the account is a general liability or excess liability customer, RLI routes the loss run request through the RLI agent and broker portal instead. Log in at myportal.rlicorp.com.
Phone
If you need help reaching the right channel, RLI's general agent and broker service line is 800-331-4929. It is a service and support line, not a dedicated loss-run line.
What to include in your request
- Named insured exactly as it appears on the policy
- Policy number and the policy years you need
- Whether the account is a general or excess liability policy, since that path goes through the portal instead of the form
- Your agency name and producer code
- The insured's authorization if you are not the current agent of record
