How to request loss runs from Society Insurance.
Society Insurance is a mutual carrier headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, that deliberately writes only a few industries, hospitality above all: restaurants, bars, and similar operations, sold through independent agents. Loss run requests usually come up when one of those hospitality accounts is being remarketed.
How to request
Phone
Society's contact page lists Agency Services at 888-576-2438, ext. 5521. That is the agency-facing service line, so use it to request reports on accounts you service.
Agent portal
Appointed agents have a login at societyinsurance.com/agent-login. Society does not publish what reports are inside, so treat it as the starting point and call Agency Services if you cannot self-serve.
What to include in your request
- Named insured exactly as it appears on the policy
- Policy number(s) and the policy periods you need
- How many years of claims history you need and when you need it (Society's own loss-run explainer says to specify both)
- Your agency name and producer code if you are the agent of record
- A signed letter of authorization from the insured if you are not the agent of record

How long does Society Insurance take to send loss runs?
Society does not promise a specific turnaround. Its own loss-run explainer notes that in many states carriers are required by law to provide loss run information within ten days or less.
Can the insured request their own loss runs from Society?
Yes. Society's loss-run explainer says any business can request a loss run report and points policyholders to their business insurance agent to get it.
Can I get loss runs from Society if I am not the agent of record?
Not directly. Either the insured requests their own claim history, or you submit a signed letter of authorization from the insured with your request.
