Loss Runs
How to request loss runs from Zurich North America.
Zurich North America is the US arm of Zurich Insurance Group, writing commercial property and casualty for middle market and large corporate accounts. Loss run requests usually come up when a commercial account is being remarketed or when an underwriter asks for currently valued history.
How to request
Online form
Zurich publishes a loss run request page at zurichna.com/claims/loss-run-reports. The page states that loss run reports are typically completed within 2 business days of submission.
Agent portal
Accounts enrolled in Zurich RiskIntelligence log in at the RiskIntelligence site to download loss runs directly, along with adjuster information, adjuster notes, and scanned claim file documents. To enroll, Zurich says to contact your underwriter or customer service executive.
Zurich's RiskIntelligence page publishes a dedicated address for loss run requests and follow-ups, Zurich.riskintelligence@zurichna.com, plus Ask.RiskIntelligence@zurichna.com for enrollment questions (email your account name and policy number(s)).
Phone
Zurich's Customer Care Center is 800-987-3373, and its claims page links straight to the loss run request page, so it can route you if you are stuck.
What to include in your request
- Named insured exactly as it appears on the policy
- Policy number(s) and the policy periods you need
- Years of history requested (three to five is standard)

Common questions
How long does Zurich take to send loss runs?
Zurich's own loss run page says reports are typically completed within 2 business days of submission. That is one of the few published turnarounds among large commercial carriers.
Can I pull Zurich loss runs myself instead of submitting a request?
Yes, if the account is enrolled in Zurich RiskIntelligence. Enrolled users can log in and download loss runs directly. Otherwise use the request page on zurichna.com or the dedicated email, Zurich.riskintelligence@zurichna.com.
Can I get Zurich loss runs if I am not the agent of record?
Include a signed letter of authorization from the insured with your request. Without it, the insured needs to request their own history.
